My name is Ewan, but online, on YouTube and online Xbox 360 gaming I go by (THE) Eyez 187. I hold a degree in Archaeology and Heritage Studies and have been bestowed an Honourary Masters in the field of Horror Film Studies by my peers and other forces of Dark and Chaotic powers.

My interest in Archaeology is associated with the histories, people and structures of ancient and classical civilizations, particularly Meso-American and Egyptian cultures, to a lesser extent Greek and Roman societies; there are interesting aspects to many cultures and civilizations throughout the world throughout the ages. In fact, due to geographical constraints and the specialties of my archaeology tutors, I was not able to do my degree dissertation study on a Meso-American culture, so I ended up doing it on a mix of Roman and Anglo-Saxon cultures; the topic title being: An analysis of the cultural transition between the Romano-British and Anglo-Saxon periods in Britain between 43BC and 700AD.

Outside of academia, I enjoy a wide range of interests and hobbies. Chief amongst these* is my love of Horror Films. This love of horror films does not just refer to the watching of said films, the number of which is rapidly closing in on 4 figures. I also write horror film reviews for the Project Deadpost website as well as co-manage our Facebook page. Since joining Deadpost, I've not only contributed articles and ideas for the site, but have managed to bring a number of celebrity supporters in to the fold; I've brought aboard and be-friended Hollywood Scream Queens Felissa Rose, Danielle Harris and Genoveva Rossi as well as best-selling zombie horror novelist Nicholas Ryan. Alongside this I've been able to bring together a number of groups, sites, pages and channels of the horror community.

The other equal big love is my music. I couldn't live without it. I enjoy a wide range of musical genres but especially love my Psytrance, Euphoric trance*, Jungle and DnB*, Happy Hardcore*, Metal and Hip-Hop, but I'll also go in for 70's, 80's, 90's, easy listening, old-skool, Reggae and classical. I go raving a lot, any events that play any of the *'s above, especially Psytrance will see me hitting the dancefloor hard for 6-8hrs at a time with my flashy led shoes and flashier dance/footwork; a 20yr student and teacher of the Leeroy Thornehill school of dance.

Outside of horror and music, I have a great deal of interest in the sciences, especially physics. Which in turn is related to my study of the universe. I have a love of film, not just the horror genre, but sci-fi, action, comedy. I enjoy gaming (Xbox 360 - gamertag Eyez 187) and like tabletop gaming, mainly Warhammer 40K. The only other real interest of mine is reading, anything on the above topics obviously, but my favourite author hands down is Tolkien. I've read (many times) LOTR, the Hobbit, the Silmarillion, the Unfinished Tales, Children of Hurin, Histories of Middle Earth and the Redbook of Westmarch.
