Born in Chicago, been living in Israel all of my adult life. I currently work in software, but my first career, which lasted 13 years, was as a Sofer Stam and Magiah. I learned in a couple different yeshivas in Israel before going out to work and support a family. Among my pastimes is discovering deep philosophical and theological ideas, as well as historical footnotes, buried in the midrashic literature.
