Sadaqah means voluntary charity. Unlike zakat there is no fixed amount of money you give out, you give as much money as you like out of compassion, love, friendship (fraternity) or generosity.

Ṣadaqah or Saddka (Arabic: صدقة‎, IPA: [sˤɑdæqɐ], "charity", plural ṣadaqāt صدقات) is an Islamic term that means "voluntary charity".
