Astrology is based on the fundamental observation that what happens above in the sky impacts the life down below on earth. So the movement of planets, stars and other celestial objects are noted to track time and predict the course of a person's life. Basing upon years of observation astrologers have formulated rules and noted patterns that can be used for various types of astrological calculations including the fate and destiny of a person.
