Dota 2 is a 2013 Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game developed and published by Valve Corporation, a stand-alone sequel to the popular Warcraft III mod Defense of the Ancients, recreated on the Source engine with all-new graphics and UI. The game is one of the most actively played games on Steam, with maximum peaks of over a million concurrent players.[1]
