Fengxian (奉贤区 Fèngxián Qū) is a suburban district of Shanghai. By Shanghai standards it is almost rural, but it has a population of over a million and considerable development, mainly residential and industrial. Nanqiao town is the largest clump of development.

Metro line 5 was extended into Fengxian on December 30, 2018, with several stops in the district.
There are buses:
Nanmei Line (南梅线) from Jinjiang Park to Nanqiao Bus Station (南桥汽车站) (The park is on Hongmei Road; Nanmei abbreviates Nanqiao-Hongmei)
Shangfeng Bus from the Shanghai South Railway Station South Square. (Shanghai-Fengxian)
Xinnan Bus from Xinzhuang (Xinzhuang-Nanqiao)
The Shanghai end of any of these is a metro stop on line 1; of the three, Xinzhuang is closest to Fengxian.
