Naramata

Naramata is an unincorporated community in the Okanagan region of south central British Columbia, located on the eastern shore of southern Okanagan Lake. It is a small community of about 2,000 permanent residents and known for its high concentration of wineries.

    • 🌍 Kettle Valley Rail Trail. Part of the former Kettle Valley Railway, the trail extends between Kelowna and Penticton and beyond. (updated Feb 2025)
    • 🌍 Naramata Creek Park, 1225 Upper Debeck Road. The Naramata Creek Park hiking trail follows Naramata Creek up through a deep river canyon to a cascading waterfall. The hike is about 2.4 km (1.5 mi), round trip, and takes about an hour or so. (updated Feb 2025)
  • Water sports – Naramata has access of Okanagan Lake, which offers a variety of water sports during the summer, including:

    • Kayaking
    • Paddleboarding
    • Fishing – a wide variety of fishing opportunities for Kokanee Salmon, Lake Whitefish, Burbot and Rainbow Trout
