Allegheny County

Allegheny County is the center of the Pittsburgh Region of Pennsylvania. It contains the city of Pittsburgh and most of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.

Pittsburgh International Airport is the major passenger airport for the county with service to many destinations on several airlines.

Allegheny County's public transportation provider is Pittsburgh Regional Transit.

The Three Rivers Heritage Trail provides uninterrupted bicycle and pedestrian connections along the three rivers in the city, and the Great Allegheny Passage trail runs from downtown Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.
